A sushi chef tries to connect with his son through their family trade, but the boy's unusual behaviour challenges the father's expectations.
Why we picked it
A family trade is not the same as a shared identity. Try Go Fishboy for an unusual Japanese-language animation about a father learning how to understand his son.
A child's self-endangering behaviour, parental conflict and fish-preparation imagery; detailed depiction review remains pending and no young-child suitability is certified.
