Godfrey, an amateur artist, sketches regularly in an old churchyard, where he keeps finding the same beautiful young woman in the same spot. He draws her again and again and comes to believe she must be a ghost. When the two finally speak, they uncover a truth stranger than either imagined, in a quiet supernatural romance about longing, beauty and mourning.

Why we picked it

Uli Meyer's elegant English ghost story, written with Michael Marshall Smith: an amateur artist keeps sketching the same woman in a churchyard and decides she must be a ghost. Eight quietly romantic minutes.
