On Christmas Eve, an elderly father calls his busy adult son Abe to announce that he and his wife are getting divorced. Alarmed, Abe phones his sister Sarah in Hong Kong, and the two siblings, who rarely speak, decide to fly home to confront their parents and stop the split. Told largely through a chain of phone calls, this witty family comedy watches a scattered family pulled back together.
