Angela returns to a family dinner after a traumatic loss, but her attempts to avoid the subject give way to an increasingly nightmarish evening.
Why we picked it
A family dinner becomes impossible to separate from grief. Choose The Dinner After for a horror short where the feelings Angela tries to escape will not stay outside the room.
A fatal car accident, sibling loss, guilt, demonic imagery and surreal horror; detailed graphic and scare intensity remain unassessed.
