Anukul, a housekeeping robot guided by ideas from the Gita, begins to develop desires and motives of his own, unsettling the boundary between servant and sentient being.

Why we picked it

A robot built to serve begins to question the people around him. Try Anukul for a Hindi science-fiction short about consciousness, power and the ethics of creating an obedient helper.

Robot servitude, power imbalances and ethical conflict; detailed depiction and intensity remain unassessed.
