A man famous for breaking out of every jail that has held him, never staying longer than a month, is brought to a mysterious prison on a remote island. Confident he will escape again, he is slowly unsettled by the guards' calm certainty that no one leaves, and by what a fellow inmate tells him about the prison and its warden. He comes to realise this is no ordinary prison but a place that bends the very idea of escape.

Why we picked it

A Malayalam noir fantasy: a man who has escaped every prison is sent to an island jail whose guards say no one leaves. Fourteen minutes that slowly tighten the screws.
