During lockdown, a young man agrees to do the grocery shopping for his reclusive elderly neighbour. What starts as a reluctant favour grows into an unlikely friendship that changes both of them, in this British comedy-drama about loneliness and connection in isolation.

Why we picked it

Groceries become a reason to reach across the distance of lockdown. A pick for a small story about neighbours and practical kindness.

Pandemic isolation, loneliness and an older neighbour needing support; detailed emotional intensity remains unassessed.
