An eight-year-old boy who does not know which religion he belongs to sets out to explore them like a curious traveller, learning hymns, trying out rituals and customs. Along the way he meets both kindness and suspicion, and comes to see faith without pride or prejudice as a simple way to belong, to love and to be compassionate.
