In the year 2730, scientist Dr. Evren Kon is asked by a governing council to build an orbital supercomputer and instead proposes something far bolder: an artificial, habitable planet with its own atmosphere. Set during the final century of the 200-year undertaking, the film follows the challenges of managing such a monumental engineering effort and its impact on the people who build it and on humanity's future.
