A little boy watches his parents worship every day and asks his mother who God is and where He lives. Told that God is everywhere but hard to recognise, he sets out to look for himself, in temples, in the sky, in books and even in dreams, until he discovers the divine in simple acts of kindness towards a hungry person, a crying child and a lonely elder.
