A man's ordinary act of forgetfulness leaves a family frightened for several nights, exposing how unexplained events can become superstition.

Why we picked it

An unexplained event can turn an ordinary night into a frightening one. Try Paroksh for a Hindi story about fear, forgetfulness and the meanings people give to what they cannot see.

Fear, family distress and apparently supernatural events; detailed scare intensity remains unassessed.
