As her memories fade, Devakiamma longs for a home that now feels like a distant dream, while her son, battling financial hardship during the pandemic, is torn between their shifting bond and her unshaken memories of the life they once shared.

Why we picked it

For one mother, home remains vivid even as other memories fade. Try this Malayalam short for a family caught between care, hardship and longing.
